ABYAN, Oct. 1 (YPA) – Dozens of angry citizens in Ludar city of Abyan province, southern Yemen, took to the streets to protest the economic deterioration, the decline of local currency and the worsening living conditions.
The protesters cut off the main street in the city and burned tires, holding the Saudi-led coalition countries responsible for the poor economic and security conditions in Yemen as a result of the war and siege for the fourth year in a row.
The demonstrators chanted slogans calling for bringing down the government of the exiled Hadi and expelling the coalition forces from all southern provinces.
