Iranian foreign ministry summons UAE charge d’affaires

SANAA, Sept. 23 (YPA) – Iran summoned the Chargé d’affaires of the UAE Embassy on the backdrop of statements by Emirati officials “supporting” the terrorist attack on the Iranian army’s military parade in Ahvaz city.

“On Sunday morning, the Iranian foreign ministry summoned the Chargé d’affaires of the UAE embassy to Tehran for his country’s officials biased statements in backing the crime in the city of Ahvaz,” the IRNA news agency reported.

Earlier, Abdul Khaliq Abdullah, the political advisor to Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed, said that “moving the battle to the Iranian territory is a declared option and will increase during the next phase.”

“A military attack against a military target is not a terrorist act,” he added.
