Islah Party’s member escapes assassination in Aden

ADEN, Sept. 20 (YPA) – A leading member of Islah Party escaped on Thursday an assassination attempt in al-Mualla city of Aden province, southern Yemen, a local official told Yemen Press Agency.

The former member of Islah executive office in Aden and head of the Trade Unions Department, Dabwan Ghalib, was subjected to an assassination attempt with an explosive device planted in his car, according to the official.

Dabwan discovered the explosive device when he inspected his car before riding it, he added.
