Pregnant wife strangled to death in Dhalei

DHALEI, Sept. 19 (YPA)- A pregnant woman was strangled to death by her husband in Qa’taba district of Dhalei province, southern Yemen, a local official told Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.

The security forces found the body of Fathia Abdullah Qama, 35, a pregnant, in her home in al-Sadrein area, where she was strangled to death with a plastic rope wrapped around her neck, the official said.

The victim’s husband who reported the crime was arrested after he confessed to committing the murder following a family dispute between them, according to the official.
