Military brigade established in Taiz

TAIZ, Sep. 15 (YPA) – Military sources revealed the efforts of the UAE towards the establishment and funding of a military brigade of the governor of Taiz, Amin Mahmoud, appointed by the Government of exiled president Hadi.

The sources confirmed that Mahmoud seeks to equip a special armed brigade in the province, which seeks to extract a presidential decision adopted by the brigade within the army brigades loyal to the alliance in Taiz.

The sources pointed out that this proposal came after the failure of the governor’s efforts to maintain the so-called “Abu Abbas Brigades” in the province.

In the same context, the military leadership of the Islah Party in Taiz fears of the Hadi’s governor danger, who is loyal to the UAE, from establishing a military brigade, to follow him personally.
