Yemeni army launches offensive on coalition-backed militants in Nihem

SANAA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Thursday launched an offensive on the positions of the coalition-backed militants in Nihem district of Sanaa provinces a military source told Yemen Press Agency.

The attack targeted the militants’ sites behind the Tabab Alsaud in Harib Nihem, leaving deaths and injuries in their ranks, the official added.

 The official confirmed that five militants were killed in the attack.
