Israeli occupation closes Gaza crossings, imposes security cordon on West Bank

SANAA, Sept. 9 (YPA) – The Isreali occupation authorities decided to close the crossings and impose a security cordon on the West Bank and Gaza Strip, starting at dawn on Sunday, and will last until next Tuesday, due to Jewish holidays.

The security cordon will be imposed, due to the advent of the Hebrew New Year, from dawn on Sunday, until midnight next Tuesday, the 10 channel Hebrew reported on Sunday.

 It said that the security cordon will be re-imposed since midnight on Monday 17/9, which will be lifted in the middle of Thursday night 19/9 on the occasion of Yom Kippur.

The channel indicated that the security cordon will be re-imposed, from midnight Sunday 22/9 to Monday, 1/10, on the occasion of the throne day.
