Bin Dhager authorities prevent Southern Movement Council to hold its mass event in Lahj (video)

LAHJ, Sept. 8 (YPA) – Bin Dhager local authorities in the city of Hawtah of Yemen’s southern province of Lahj on Saturday  prevented  a mass event of the Southern Movement Council, which is against the high cost of living, the deteriorating of the economic situation and demanding to leave the South region of Yemen alone without outside interferences.

A number of southern movement activists tried to enter the Nasser hall in the College of Agricultural Sciences but were barred from entering and closed the college’s doors in an attempt to shut the Southern voices and prevent them from demanding of their rights.

Activists were in the process of holding their event before being prevented.

The ban comes as a continuation of other preventive measures that affected the activities of the southern movement in the southern provinces, which are under the control of the Saudi-UAE occupation forces.
