Yemeni parliament Speaker meets head of MSF Spanish mission in Yemen

SANAA, Sep. 3 (YPA) – Speaker of the Yemeni parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Rai, on Monday met with the head of the Spanish mission of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Caroline Ducam in Sanaa.

During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Yemen and the disastrous effects caused by the Saudi-led aggression coalition at various levels, as well as the continued bombing of children, women and the elderly.

Al-Rai drew attention to the coalition’s massacres and war crimes against the children of Saada and Hodeidah provinces.

He also indicated that the Saudi-led coalition’s air strikes hit Hospitals, medical centers, weddings, funerals, markets, schools, fishermen, and citizens while they are in their homes.

The aggression coalition on Yemen caused widespread of diseases and epidemics, Speaker of the Yemeni parliament said.
He appreciated the MSF Spanish mission’s concrete efforts in the medical field and medical projects in a number of provinces.

For her part, Head of MSF Spanish mission expressed her thanks and appreciation for the support given to the mission to facilitate its tasks in Yemen.

She also expressed solidarity with the Yemeni people who have been suffering due to the Saudi-led aggression coalition.
