Report: 2 civilians killed in 41 Saudi-led airstrikes, ground attacks over 24 hours
SANAA, Aug. 29 (YPA) – At least two civilians were killed and another injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched 41 airstrikes and ground attacks on several provinces of Yemen during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.
• In Saada province:
A civilian was killed and another injured in missile and artillery shelling at shada district.
Missile and artillery shells were fired toward Baqem district and residential villages in Monabeh district.
Meanwhile, an airstrike hit Kutaf district.
An air raid was waged on Shada district.
Two air raids on Baqem district.
• In Sanaa province:
11 airstrikes were waged on Sanaa international airport and Dailami base.
• In Hodeidah province:
An airstrike hit a civilian’s home in Jarubah area of Bait-Faqih district.
• In Lahj province:
A civilian was killed when Saudi-backed militiamen shelled his home in Moghamiah village of Qubaita district.
• In Hajjah province:
Nine airstrikes hit Haradh and Medi districts.
• In border Jizan province:
15 airstrikes were waged on Tewal border crossing.
• In Najran border province:
A Saudi-led coalition airstrike hit Hammad.
