Report: Yemen army attacks Saudi troops’sites, gatherings over 24 hours

SANAA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – Yemen army carried out military operations, including missile, artillery and sniping attacks, targeted Saudi troops’ sites and gatherings during the past 24 hours, according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

 ·        In Yemen’s western coast:

Army cleared Jabalia area and several sites in an offensive targeted Saudi-backed militiamen, inflicting them heavy losses.

An offensive targeted militiamen’s sites in east and south Hais district.

Army killed 46 militiamen, injured 57 and destroyed 9 military vehicles in an ambush near Jabalia market in Tuhaita district.

·        In Jiazn border province:

Gatherings of Saudi soldiers were shelled by artillery in Masha’l site.

  Two Saudi soldiers were shot dead in Masha’l site.

A Sudanese soldier was sniped in east of Dood mount.

·        In border province of Najran:

Army carried out an ambush on militiamen beyond Hajlah site, killing five of the militiamen and destroying three military vehicles.

·        In Asir border province:

A militiamen was shot dead west of Majaza.

Missile and artillery shells were targeted gatherings of militiamen in front of Alb border crossing and west of Majaza.

·        In Jawf province:

An armored vehicle of militiamen was destroyed by an explosive device in Utemah area of Khub-washaaf district, killing four of its board.
