Defense Ministry: Army kills 46, wounds 57, destroys 9 military vehicles in Western Coast

SANAA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – Yemen army on Wednesday killed 46 of Saudi-backed militiamen and injured 57 others as well as the destruction of nine military vehicles in an ambush in Western Coast, A source in the Ministry of Defense told Yemen Press Agency.

The army carried out an ambush which targeted a large number of militiamen followed the so-called brigades IX and III Amalika, near Jabiliah area market of Tuhaita district.

The source pointed out that the army attacked the militiamen from all sides and were targeted by bombing the center, which led to the death of 46 and wounded 57 others.
The army destroyed nine different military vehicles of Saudi-backed militiamen and the cleared all the areas they have penetrated, pointing out that the rest of the militiamen fled to Matinah junction.
