President congratulates leaders of Arab, Islamic states on Eid al-Adha

SANAA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Monday sent cables of congratulation to kings, presidents and princes of the Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

In his cables, the president expressed his sincere wishes to them for good health and to their people the permanent progress and prosperity.

Al-Mashat noted that this religious occasion, which culminated with performing the Hajj rituals, represents an embodiment of the values of love and revives the spirit of tolerance and compassion.

The president asked Allah, the Almighty, to help the leaders of the Arab and Islamic nations to unite the word on the way of realizing the hopes and aspirations of the peoples towards the advancement and progress.
