Gunmen attack Afghanistan’s intelligence center in Kabul

SANAA, Aug. 16 (YPA) – Gunmen on Thursday morning launched an attack on an area near the Afghan intelligence training center in the capital Kabul, according to Reuter’s reports.

An official said that they took shelter in a fortified area inside the center without providing further details.

A huge explosion was heard amid heavy clashes around the national Army Training Center in the Citadel District of Kabul, and the police blocked roads leading to the site of the accident, the Afghani State news Agency quoted witnesses as saying.

The attack came a day after a suicide bomber targeted education center in the West of Kabul that lift ove100 people dead and wounded.
