Report: Yemen army wages offensives on Saudi troops over 24 hours
SANAA, Aug. 13 (YPA) – Yemen army carried out offensives on Saudi soldiers and their militiamen on several front lines over the past 24 hours, according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency of Monday.
- In Asir border province:
A Saudi soldier was shot dead in Raqabt Qashabah.
Saudi fortification were targeted by a guided missile in Airawan.
Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of Saudi-backed militiamen in west of Majaza and in front of Alb border crossing.
A military vehicle was destroyed by a guided missile in front of Alb border crossing.
The army controlled two sites in the west of Majaza by an offensive, destroying two military vehicle, loaded with militiamen, killing and wounding dozens of the militiamen.
- In Jizan Saudi border province:
Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of militiamen in east of Dood mount, sniping two of them.
Gatherings of Saudi soldiers were shelled by artillery in Masha’l site and Sawda center.
Engineering unit of the army destroyed a military vehicle by an explosive device in east of Dood mount, killing and injuring all its crew.
- In Najran border province:
The army repelled an infiltration attempt toward the army’s sites in front of Sudais site.
- In Yemen’s western coast:
A military vehicle was smashed in Tuhaita.
Two of militiamen were shot dead in Tuhaita.
Artillery shells were fired toward gatherings of militiamen in east of Tuhaita, destroying a military vehicle.
- In Jawf province:
A coalition’s spy plane was shot down in front of Waggz front of Maslup district.
Two military vehicles were destroyed by explosive devices in Mahamisha area of Khub-washaf district.
- In Marib province:
Five militiamen were sniped in Serwah front.
- In Nehm district:
A Saudi-backed militiaman was shot dead in Majawaha area.
- In Haradh district:
A minefield was bombed with a group of militiamen in the west Nar mount, killing and wounding, most of them seriously injured and the enemy was unable to aid them.
