ADEN, Nov. 02 (YPA) – Informed sources have revealed that Saudi authorities issued directives to arrest Abu Bakr Al-Jabouli, commander of the Islah party-affiliated “Tor Al-Baha Axis,” and place him under investigation following the control taken by Sanaa forces over the Al-Maqatirah front and vast areas of Tor Al-Baha in Lahj Governorate.
According to the sources, Muhammad Talal Al-Balawi, commander of Saudi forces in Aden, instructed intelligence personnel to transport Al-Jabouli to the Saudi forces headquarters in the Al-Buriqah area of Aden. He is to be questioned regarding military collapses, the casualties—hundreds killed and wounded—and the capture of other conscripts by Sanaa forces.
The Saudi directives follow widespread accusations of failure leveled against Al-Jabouli in leading engagements against Sanaa forces, which secured control over various military sites across the Al-Maqatirah and Tor Al-Baha axis fronts. Meanwhile, reports indicate that Al-Jabouli fled to an unknown destination after Sanaa forces captured the headquarters of the 4th Brigade.
