Saudi forces repel Saudi attempt to advance towards Bab al-Mandeb

SANAA, Nov. 2 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces affiliated with the Sanaa government, repelled attempted advances by Saudi-backed forces, led by Saudi officer Badr al-Harbi, toward Bab al-Mandab, a military source told the Sana’a-based Saba News Agency.

The source said that the failed advances left large numbers of personnel, including Saudis, killed and wounded.

According to the source , the repeated failures have sparked disputes and infighting among the Saudi-backed forces.

Despite the heavy losses, Saudi officers continue to send reinforcements and launch further attempts to advance, even at the cost of thousands of lives, the source said.
