Activists in New Jersey protest against arms exports to “Israel”

NEW JERSEY, Nov. 02 (YPA) – Activists and supporters of the Palestinian people held a protest at the Port of Elizabeth in New Jersey to oppose the export and transfer of weapons to “Israel.”

The demonstration was part of a series of international actions taking place at ports around the world this week, calling for an end to arms shipments to “Israel.”

According to the organizers, the actions spanned more than 100 ports across at least 22 countries, involving activists, port workers, and labor unions.

The event included a vehicle procession within the port area, during which participants displayed the Palestinian flag and demanded an end to the transfer of weapons to Israel. They also called for a boycott of the Israeli shipping company “Zim.”

The organizers stated that these actions are part of an international solidarity campaign aimed at pressuring for a halt to the export of weapons used in the war on the Gaza Strip, while highlighting the role that ports and shipping companies play in transporting military equipment to the occupying state.
