SANAA, Oct. 26 (YPA) –Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri, a member of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, said Saudi officials overseeing the negotiations file bore part of the responsibility for the renewed military escalation.
In a post on X, Al-Ajri said the Saudi side had failed to properly assess the seriousness of the situation.

Al-Ajri said the situation was not so complicated as to prevent carefully considered initiatives to avert escalation. However, he said, attempts to outmaneuver the other side had contributed to the crisis.
Al-Ajri’s remarks came after military and security officials from Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan reportedly arrived in Tehran as part of what is known as the “Mecca Defense Alliance.”
