Anti-corruption body uncovers certificate forgery at Hadramout Police College

HADRAMOUT, Oct. 26 (YPA) – A document issued by the Supreme National Authority for Combatting Corruption (SNACC) in the Saudi-backed government has revealed the forgery of six graduation certificates attributed to the Police College in Hadramout Governorate.

The document, dated August 17, confirmed an explicit case of forgery involving official graduation certificates issued to six individuals, who were subsequently promoted to the rank of second lieutenant based on the fraudulent credentials.

The SNACC instructed the minister of interior, Ibrahim Haidan, to compel the Director of the College, Saleh Abed bin Nasser Al-Tamimi, to submit the files of the six graduates in question.

Furthermore, the document called for the immediate formation of a committee to audit the certificates of all college graduates against their respective promotion decisions, ensuring full compliance with legal and academic standards.

Meanwhile, official silence surrounds the findings of the investigation into the forgery incident, raising growing concerns and suspicion among the public in Hadramout regarding a potential cover-up and the potential scale of the forgery network that enabled unauthorized officers to hold fraudulent ranks from the college, which was established in 2019.
