Zionist forces continue their aggression on Hebron for third consecutive day

HEBRON, Oct. 25 (YPA) – For the third consecutive day, the Israeli occupation forces continue their comprehensive and ongoing aggression against the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank, amid escalating raids, arrests, and a tightened military siege, having arrested 20 citizens as the suffering of residents worsens across various areas of the governorate.

Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces stormed most neighborhoods of Hebron city, raided citizens’ homes, searched them, and abused their owners, before arresting: Taqi Fadl Al-Qawasmi, Ahmed Adli Al-Haimouni, Youssef Abu Dawood, Ayman Abu Dawood, Mahmoud Abu Dawood, and Jibril Maher Abu Asbeih.

The occupation forces also stormed the towns of Dura, Yatta, and Al-Samu south of Hebron, arresting: Nayef Al-Rajoub, Salim Al-Rajoub, Nihad Matir Al-Awawdeh, Hossam Mahmoud Abu Ras, Raafat Mahmoud Ahreizat, Basem Ahmed Al-Zaarir, Bilal Omar Al-Badarin, Ayman Abu Awad, Mohammed Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh, Mounir Issa Al-Hawamdeh, and Baraa Al-Khalayli, after raiding their homes and abusing them.

From the town of Tarqumiyah to the west, these forces arrested  three  citizens from Halhul to the north.

In the same context, the occupation forces tightened their military siege imposed on the cities, towns, villages, and camps of the governorate, closing all roads leading to them and pursuing anyone attempting to enter or exit.

Meanwhile, these forces continue to close the “Al-Jalda” and “Ain Deir Bahta” areas in Hebron city, after forcibly evacuating large parts of them and forcing—over the past three days—more than 200 families to flee, displacing 2,500 citizens from Deir Bahta and Al-Jalda forcefully from their homes.
