Zionist forces continue violating Gaza ceasefire, wounding Palestinian man

GAZA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – A Palestinian man was wounded by Israeli gunfire in central Gaza on Wednesday as Zionist forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement, with artillery shelling and gunfire across the Gaza strip.

Palestinian sources said the man was wounded by Israeli fire in Bureij refugee camp.

In northern Gaza, Israeli military vehicles continued firing east of Jabalia refugee camp and north of Beit Lahia. Israeli artillery also shelled eastern areas of Gaza City.

In southern Gaza, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire in eastern and southern Khan Younis.

Since the ceasefire took effect, more than 1,500 Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured. Israeli occupation forces have also destroyed hundreds of homes and damaged infrastructure. They currently control more than 70% of the Gaza Strip.
