Netanyahu unveils new map for Middle East division

SANAA, Oct. 19 (YPA) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unveiled a new map for the redrawing of the Middle East map on Monday during a closed meeting to discuss national security, coinciding with international efforts to end wars.

The map showed the occupation’s efforts to impose a six-party alliance led by the entity and including Arab and Gulf states that have normalized relations with Israel (in blue), followed by an alliance he called “Sunni,” led by Saudi Arabia and including Egypt, Turkey, and Pakistan (in green), as buffer zones. The map of the “axis of resistance” was colored red, reflecting the occupation’s fear of the growing power of this axis.

In an indication of his confusion, Netanyahu threatened to launch a unilateral and direct attack against Iran, claiming his entity’s ability to carry it out without a green light from the US, amid international moves to impose a broad settlement and questions about whether the map is an illusion of influence or an exposure of his existential fears of the axis of resistance.
