Sanaa human rights authority condemns Saudi strikes on home in Saada

SANAA, Oct. 18 (YPA) – The National Human Rights Authority in Sanaa condemned on Sunday a Saudi aggressive airstrike targeting the home of citizen Ali al-Qahm in Sahar District, Saada Governorate, which killed 10 civilians and injured 23 others, mostly women and children. The toll remains preliminary, with search operations continuing for people missing beneath the rubble.

In a statement, the authority said the attack constituted a grave crime and violated Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions.

It held the Saudi regime fully criminally responsible for the massacre, urged the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and child-protection organizations to condemn it, and called on the international community to act to halt crimes against the Yemeni people.
