Leaked Saudi documents reveal scale of Saudi military presence, decision-making architecture in Mocha

SANAA, Oct. 17 (YPA) –  Top-secret classified documents and records issued by the Saudi Ministry of Defense have revealed the organizational structure of Saudi military forces stationed in Mocha, the scale of their military presence, and the extent of their intervention in Yemeni affairs.

The documents, obtained by Al-Masirah TV channel, include military attachment rosters, organizational structures, and detailed correspondence for the departments of the Saudi force stationed in Mocha, encompassing operations, intelligence, command and control, administration, logistics, and security and protection.

The documents showed that the Saudi force in Mocha exclusively manages the mobilization of Yemeni mercenaries, and it also revealed that the administrative structure for managing the so-called “Joint Forces” in Mocha does not include the name of any commander among the “Yemeni hypocrites”.

The documents disclosed that the organizational structure of the Saudi base in Mocha includes 135 military and administrative positions, alongside lists containing the names of 54 officers and 148 non-commissioned officers and enlisted personnel under attachment arrangements to the advanced operational base in Mocha.

The attachment rosters included personnel from air defense, the strategic missile force, and special forces to reinforce the base in Mocha and the targeting cell, while the organizational structure of the advanced base included cells for operations, planning, fire support, reconnaissance, and intelligence.

The officer rosters indicated their attachment to the advanced operational base in Mocha and the commencement of their duties under the command of the Sharorah force at Al-Wadeeah crossing.

In another vein, the Saudi Ministry of Defense documents included directives requesting the preparation of a database containing the political and tribal affiliations of governors and senior officials in Yemen, as well as the tribal and social composition, religious orientations, and political affiliations of the population.

The requests also encompassed gathering information on armed forces and organizations, their roles, and their level of influence on officials and the population in Yemen, alongside a request for a report from the Joint Forces Intelligence Directorate on the political and social situation in Yemeni governorates.

One piece of correspondence indicated the approval of the Joint Forces Commander for an organizational structure that includes a department for monitoring the political and social affairs of Yemeni formations.
