Saudi airstrikes target oil company facility west of Sanaa

SANAA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Saudi warplanes launched airstrikes on Sanaa on Tuesday evening, targeting the oil company facility in Al-Subaha, west of Sanaa, security sources told Yemen Press Agency.

A source at the oil company had earlier confirmed that the company’s station in Al-Subaha area was empty of petroleum derivatives and held no military value.

It is worth noting that Sanaa forces had renewed their warnings in three military statements to all employee experts, engineers, and workers across all Saudi oil facilities against being present in locations that serve as targets for the Yemeni Armed Forces, in order to protect their lives—whether these facilities have been targeted previously or not.

They also renewed warnings to air navigation companies in designated airspaces and airports, as well as travelers and workers therein, as previously announced.

Sanaa forces urged all citizens to immediately evacuate and stay away from targets that Yemeni forces would strike if Saudi Arabia proceeded to target the installations announced in the capital, Sanaa—namely, “Aramco’s headquarters in Dammam, King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, and the Riyadh refinery affiliated with Aramco.”

Earlier, Sanaa forces warned Saudi Arabia that any attacks in the capital, Sanaa, would be met with a harsh and painful response in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The Sanaa forces’ warning to Riyadh came after Saudi Arabia announced it would target specific sites in Sanaa, specifying the Yemeni Petroleum Company and the central Al-Subaha station.
