Israeli artillery shelling targets areas in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Oct. 12 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation artillery opened fire, on Monday, towards various areas in the south, according to the Lebanese National News Agency.

The shelling targeted the town of Mansouri in the morning, and at dawn the vicinity of Yater and the valleys adjacent to Beit Leef and Sarbin.

On Sunday evening, it also targeted the Araish area in Haris, the outskirts of Kfar Tebnit, Wadi al-Salouqi, Shaqra, and Wadi Zibqin, coinciding with machine gun fire between Kfar Tebnit, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, and Wadi al-Hujair

The towns of Frun and Yater warned residents against entering olive groves for fear of cluster bombs and landmines, after two citizens were killed while inspecting their groves.
