Dozens of Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

QUDS, Oct. 12 (YPA) – Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied city of Quds (Jerusalem) on Monday, under the protection of Israeli forces.

Palestinian sources reported that dozens of settlers entered the mosque compound through the Moroccan Gate and performed Talmudic rituals and prayers in front of the Dome of the Rock.

For years, Israeli occupation  authorities have sought to impose a new reality at Al-Aqsa Mosque. These efforts have intensified in recent days, with authorities allowing rituals involving four plant species, shofar blowing, mass prostration, and other religious practices.

The measures have coincided with widespread settler incursions during the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur.
