Live footage from Taiz’s Dhubab reveals propaganda by Saudi media, Al Jazeera

SANAA, Oct. 06 (YPA) – A Yemeni television channel aired footage earlier showing scenes from the center of Dhubab district overlooking the Bab al-Mandab Strait in western Taiz province, with the footage showing residential neighborhoods and key sites overlooking the Red Sea.

Al-Masirah channel published a video report on its Telegram channel featuring scenes from various parts of Dhubab.

The report interviewed several residents and members of the Sanaa armed forces stationed in the area, who said the situation on the ground remained stable and that reports claiming Saudi-backed factions had taken control of the district were part of a disinformation campaign.

They said daily life in the city was continuing normally, with the footage offering a direct view of developments on the ground.

The footage, according to the report, contradicted false claims and rumors circulated by Saudi and Saudi-aligned media outlets, as well as Al Jazeera TV, which it accused of spreading inaccurate reports and information in recent hours.

The Al-Masirah channel said the footage demonstrated that the situation on the ground remained the decisive factor, putting circulating accounts to the test and highlighting the scale of media disinformation targeting public awareness in Yemen.
