Taiz Governor gives instructions to implement presidential amnesty decree

SANAA, Oct. 04 (YPA) – Ahmed Al-Musawa, the Sanaa-appointed governor of Taiz, instructed the general amnesty committees across the governorate’s districts on Sunday evening to implement directives issued by Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council, regarding the ongoing presidential amnesty for those previously aligned with Saudi-backed forces.
According to the official Saba News Agency, Al-Musawa reaffirmed the local authority’s commitment to implementing the Supreme Political Council chief’s directives to activate the presidential amnesty mechanism for individuals who have abandoned fighting and returned to their homes.
He further noted that the armed forces remain committed to guaranteeing safe passage for individuals who do not obstruct military operations against Saudi-backed mobilizations.
