56 French organizations and parties call for month of protests to stop arming Israel

PARIS, Sept. 27 (YPA) – Fifty-six French organizations, unions, and parties have called for a month of action in October to demand a halt to the transfer of military equipment to Israel and an end to military cooperation, to increase pressure on the government and companies amid the Gaza war.

The groups said that France exports equipment to Israel worth about 20 million euros annually, not counting dual-use items, citing a report that documented 525 military shipments from French companies to Israeli defense industries between October 2023 and March 2026 via Charles de Gaulle Airport, including ammunition, drones, and night-fighting equipment.

The campaign includes CGT, La France Insoumise, the Communist Party, the Greens, and others, and targets 75 companies linked to arming Israel.
