SANAA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie on Saturday announced the latest developments regarding Saudi airstrikes and attacks on Yemen.

In a brief statement, the spokesman said Saudi warplanes had carried out 129 airstrikes over the past 48 hours across the provinces of Taiz, Marib, Hodeida, Jawf, Saada, Amran and Hajjah.

He added that the strikes were carried out by F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets that took off from Saudi military bases in Khamis Mushait and Taif, warning that the attacks on the Yemeni people would not go unanswered and would face a response and punishment.
