JENIN, Sept. 12 (YPA) – An elderly Palestinian man and a child were injured early Saturday when Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Marka, south of Jenin, while six Palestinians were arrested during raids on several towns and villages across the governorate.
Palestinian sources reported that a 68-year-old man suffered bruising to his back and chest, while a 14-year-old boy sustained a fracture to his right hand during the raid on Marka. Both received treatment at an emergency center in Arraba.
In Deir Abu Daif village, Israeli forces arrested a young man after raiding the village and searching his home.
Israeli forces also raided Faqqu’a town and arrested four Palestinians after searching their homes and ransacking their contents.
They further raided Jabal Abu Dhuhur and the town of Silat al-Harithiya, searching several homes, most of them belonging to former prisoners, before withdrawing from the town.
The occupation forces also raided the village of Zububa, west of Jenin, and searched a home, as well as the German neighborhood east of the city, where they arrested another young man.
