Gaza death toll from Israeli genocidal war mounts to 73,669

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday announced that the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war has risen to 73,669 people, with 174,652 others wounded, since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Gaza Health Ministry said hospitals had received seven martyrs and 25 wounded over the past 24 hours. It said the fatalities included two newly reported deaths, one person who succumbed to previous wounds, and four bodies recovered from the rubble.

The ministry said the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on October 11 last year has reached 1,358 martyrs and 4,541 wounded, while 831 bodies have been recovered from the rubble.

“A number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews remain unable to reach them to this moment,” it added.
