GAZA, Sept. 04 (YPA) – The Palestinian Resistance’s security apparatus-run Al-Haris platform in the Gaza Strip, announced on Thursday the arrest of three Israeli occupation’s collaborators, including a woman, after foiling an attempt to abduct a senior Palestinian figure in Gaza City on September 1.
In its first statement, the platform said the suspects had posed as members of an international relief organization to facilitate their movements and gather intelligence, noting that seized items confirmed their identities and activities.
According to statements from the detainees and preliminary investigation findings, a special occupation military force arrived at the operation site several hours before the plot was uncovered, without having maintained a prior presence at the location.
The platform added that an encounter between abducted Palestinian officer Moeen Al-Arabid and the occupation force exposed its presence, triggering panic and confusion among its members and prompting the operation’s commander to request assistance and order the force’s evacuation from the site.
