Israeli occupation forces continue shelling, explosions in Southern Lebanon

LEBANON, Aug. 30 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued their military escalation in southern Lebanon on Sunday, targeting the town of Al-Mansouri with artillery shelling, according to state media.

Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that an Israeli infantry unit advanced toward the stream of the Zawtar Al-Gharbiya River, executing controlled detonations along the riverbanks. Israeli occupation forces also carried out a demolition operation in the town of Al-Qantara.

Additionally, two separate explosions were reported on the outskirts of the towns of Ayta Al-Jabal and Houla in the Marjayoun district, amid ongoing Israeli military operations across southern Lebanon.
