Over 73,454 Palestinians killed in ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza

GAZA, Aug. 30 (YPA) – Over 73,454 Palestinians have been martyred and 174,486 injured as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Strip said on Sunday in its daily statistical report on casualties resulting from the Israeli aggression, the Gaza hospitals received five martyrs — four newly reported deaths and one person who succumbed to previous injuries — along with 14 injured people over the past 24 hours.

The ministry said the death toll since the ceasefire that took effect on October 11 last year has reached 1,318 martyrs and 4,375 injuries, while 815 bodies have been recovered.

It added that a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews remain unable to reach them.
