Saudi-backed forces shell homes, farms in Taiz, killing boy

TAIZ, Aug. 27 (YPA) – A boy and several sheep were killed on Thursday when Saudi-backed gunmen targeted residential homes and farmland in Khadir District of Yemen’s Taiz Governorate, according to local sources.

The attack took place while the boy was herding the sheep.

The governorates of Taiz and Dhalea have experienced a wave of attacks by Saudi-backed forces since early August, causing civilian casualties, including children, and extensive damage to residential and farmlands.
