Massive explosions rock Yemen’s Mocha Port amid reports of missile attack

TAIZ, Aug. 14 (YPA) – Massive explosions rocked Mocha port, on Yemen’s western coast, near the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, local and international media outlets reported.

According to the reports, the explosions resulted from a large-scale military attack by the Sanaa forces targeting a major shipment of Saudi weapons and military equipment at the port.

Dozens of Saudi-backed mercenaries were reportedly killed in the missile attack.

Smoke billowed from Mokha Port after it was targeted by the Yemeni Armed Forces, according to reports.

No immediate official statement had been issued by the Sanaa’s Armed Forces regarding the attack.
