NABLUS, Aug. 10 (YPA) – A Palestinian young man was injured by shrapnel from Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire early today, Monday, during a raid of Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.
Palestinian sources said Israeli occupation forces raided the camp, stormed and searched several Palestinian homes, and ransacked their contents amid heavy gunfire, injuring the young man in the foot with shrapnel. He was transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.
The sources added that Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinians: Raed Daous, Taha Al-Saqqa, Mohammad Jihad Masha, Raed Yahya Faraj, and Nasser Abu Thabet, following raids and searches of their homes.
