Civil defense rescues five vehicles trapped by severe flash floods in Sanaa

SANAA, Aug. 08 (YPA) –  Yemeni Civil Defense rescue teams last night safely retrieved five vehicles from the Al-Quds Roundabout tunnel and bridge in the capital, Sana’a, after they became submerged by heavy flash floods.

The authority stated that teams responded immediately to the emergency call, towing the vehicles to safety. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

It urged citizens to exercise extreme caution and avoid crossing tunnels, flood channels, and low-lying areas during heavy rainfall to protect lives and property.
