SANAA, Aug. 07 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based Armed Forces announced on Friday that they had carried out a precision operation using multiple missiles and drones against Saudi-backed forces and allied fighters at Sahn Al-Jin military camp in Marib province.
In a statement, military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie said the operation targeted troop concentrations along with weapons depots, military vehicles, and equipment after extensive surveillance of Saudi and allied force movements.
The statement accused Saudi Arabia of continuing military mobilization and encouraging allied forces to sustain the blockade and military campaign against Yemen.
It said they would continue to respond to escalation with escalation, warning that any future Saudi military mobilization aimed at maintaining the blockade would be targeted.
The statement also reiterated their commitment to the blockade for blockade strategy and pledged to strike Saudi military build-ups wherever they are located.
It urged Yemeni fighters aligned with Saudi-backed forces to leave military camps and return to their home areas before it is too late, warning them against becoming fuel for foreign-backed projects.
The military statement also praised the tribes of Marib for their support for the Yemeni people against occupation and foreign tutelage, reaffirming their commitment to lifting the blockade and securing Yemen’s legitimate rights.
