Gaza Civil Defense: Israeli occupation continues destroying remaining buildings in the Strip

GAZA, July 30 (YPA) –  Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defense, said on Thursday that Israeli occupation forces continue to destroy what remains of residential buildings across the enclave.

Basal stated the Israeli warplanes destroyed a five-story residential building belonging to the Shamiya family, with two missiles, in the Karam Maslaha area of Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

The attack left numerous people injured and damaged six neighboring buildings, according to Basal.

He described the attack as part of a systematic campaign to destroy the remaining residential buildings in the Gaza Strip amid continued intensive bombardment that threatens civilians and deepens the humanitarian crisis.
