Iran: We are ready for any confrontation and we exploited the ceasefire to strengthen our military capabilities

TEHRAN, July 26 (YPA) – Iran announced its complete readiness for any confrontation or resumption of the war, stressing that its armed forces did not rely on the ceasefire understandings and that they remain in a state of full readiness.

The spokesman for the Revolutionary Guard said that the Iranian army continues to raise its readiness to confront any developments, while Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of the National Security Committee in Parliament, confirmed that the main objective of the war is to end the American military presence in the region.

Tehran indicated that it did not treat the ceasefire as a period of calm, but rather invested it in strengthening its military capabilities and raising its level of preparedness in anticipation of any future scenario.
