One Palestinian killed in northern Gaza amid ongoing ceasefire violations

GAZA, July 26 (YPA) – A Palestinian civilian was killed by Israeli gunfire in northern Gaza on Sunday, according to Palestinian sources

The sources said ambulance crews recovered the body of an unidentified Palestinian and transferred it to Al-Shifa Medical Complex after Israeli forces reportedly targeted tents sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Tawam area of northern Gaza.

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement by targeting residential areas and demolishing homes located beyond the so-called “Yellow Line,” in a clear breach of the agreement’s provisions, which stipulate a halt to military operations.

Palestinian authorities said that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, a total of 1,191 people have been killed, 3,853 injured, and 803 bodies recovered.

They also report that since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, the total death toll has reached 73,317, with 173,961 people injured.
