Sanaa forces’ Chief of Staff vows to resume escalation if “Israel” attacks Gaza

SANAA, July 23 (YPA) – The Chief of Staff of the Sanaa forces, Major General Youssef Al-Madani, has affirmed that the armed forces will not allow a return to war and aggression against Gaza, stressing their full readiness to immediately resume military escalation if “Israel” launches any new attack on the Strip.

The remarks came in a congratulatory message sent by Major General Al-Madani to Hamas leader Khalil Al-Hayya following his appointment as head of the movement after receiving the confidence of its leadership.

The Chief of staff extended his highest congratulations and blessings to Al-Hayya, saying that the leadership’s selection of him for the role at this “exceptional and historic stage” reflects the steadfastness of Hamas’s leaders and the strength of its path.

Al-Madani said Al-Hayya was “the best successor to the best predecessor,” given his long history of resistance and his courageous stances in confronting the Israeli enemy.

He praised the heroic role and historic battle waged by Hamas and other Palestinian resistance factions against Israel’s “expansionist and aggressive projects” targeting the nation and its sanctities, particularly Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Madani reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and Gaza, describing it as the central issue that cannot be compromised. He noted that the siege and pressure imposed on Yemen are the price of upholding its stance in support of Palestine.
