Demonstration held in Stockholm to condemn Israeli genocide in Gaza

STOCKHOLM, July 18 (YPA) – The Swedish capital, Stockholm, witnessed a peaceful demonstration protesting the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip and the Israeli aggression against Lebanon on Saturday.

Protesters gathered in Odenplan Square at the invitation of civil society organizations, chanting slogans against the occupation and raising banners demanding an end to the bombing of schools and hospitals, the lifting of the siege on Gaza, and the cessation of the aggression against Lebanon.

In addition, Swedish activist Joachim Andersson said that his weekly participation aims to draw attention to the situation in Gaza, criticizing his country’s policy towards what is happening and expressing his hope that Stockholm’s position will change.
