Yemen’s Scholars Association condemns Saudi attack on Sanaa Airport

SANAA, July 14 (YPA) – Yemen’s Scholars Association condemned the Saudi attack on Sanaa International Airport, considering it a new act of aggression targeting Yemen’s civilian infrastructure and sovereignty.

In statement issued on Monday, the Association said the strike reflects continued Saudi attempts to maintain the blockade on Yemen and target civilian facilities.

It affirmed the right of the revolutionary leadership, represented by Sayyed Abdul-Malik  Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to take necessary measures to deter the aggressor and called for a strong response by the Yemeni Armed Forces.

The statement also expressed support for efforts to lift the blockade, safeguard Yemen’s independence, and restore the country’s resources and national wealth.
