Al-Mashat offers condolences to Qatar’s Emir on death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa

SANAA, July 12 (YPA) – President of Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, sent on Sunday a cable of condolences to Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani following the death of his father, former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

In the cable, Al-Mashat expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Emir, praising the positive role played by Qatar under his leadership in mediation efforts to halt the war in Saada province.

He extended his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Qatari emir and the Qatari people, praying that Allah grant the deceased his mercy and comfort during their bereavement.
