Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei vows revenge for his father: “We have the killers’ list, retribution is coming”

TEHRAN, July 11 (YPA) – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, vowed on Saturday to avenge the blood of his father, the former Leader of the Revolution, the Martyr Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, and all martyrs.

In a message delivered during the funeral ceremonies, Sayyid Mojtaba emphasized that revenge is an inevitable popular demand that will be realized soon.

Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei expressed his appreciation for the historic and awe-inspiring participation of tens of millions of mourners across Iran and Iraq—particularly in Tehran, Qom, Najaf, Karbala, and Mashhad—pledging to the deceased to preserve his school of thought and steadfastly walk in his footsteps without fear of hardships.

He stressed in his message that the criminals—of whom the leadership possesses a complete list of names—will not escape punishment and will not die a peaceful death, explaining that the execution of retribution is inevitable and is not tied to his own existence or that of other officials and that free people of the world will soon execute a part of this divine mission.

Sayyid Mojtaba also praised the martyrs who perished in the surprise attack, affirming that their blood has revitalized the renaissance of the Iranian people.

It is worth noting that the body of Sayyid Ali Khamenei was laid to rest yesterday in the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza in the city of Mashhad, following a week-long mourning period that witnessed a historic participation estimated at approximately 43 million people from within Iran and around 100 countries worldwide.
